We’re glad you’re considering a visit to Discovery Church. Here’s what you can expect when you come.
New Here?
What to wear
There’s no dress code. You’ll see everything from jeans and sneakers to business casual. Wear what feels like you. Sit anywhere, participate as you’re comfortable, and take it at your own pace.
DC Kids
We offer nursery, preschool, and kids church during the service. Check-in is simple and secure when you arrive, and every team member is background-checked. Kids enjoy age-appropriate lessons, music, and activities. If your child needs you during the service, we’ll let you know right away.
DC Youth (13–18)
Students join the main service for worship and are then dismissed to a class designed for them. On the first Sunday of each month, youth remain in the main service with everyone else. Expect solid teaching, honest conversation, and a welcoming space for questions.
Teaching
Messages are Bible-centered and practical, aimed at helping you follow Jesus in everyday life. You can expect clear teaching, real-world application, and an invitation to take a next step—without being put on the spot.
Worship
You’ll hear a live band leading singable songs about Jesus and hope. Lyrics are on the screens, so feel free to sing along or simply listen. We also make space for prayer and reflection—no pressure.
Service time
Services run about 90 minutes. If you’re checking in kids, arriving a few minutes early helps. Greeters are available to point you in the right direction.

If you’d like to stay in the loop or have questions, fill out a Connect Card. We’ll follow up briefly to say hello, answer questions, share next steps, and pray for you if you’d like—no spam.

Grab a coffee, head into the service, and make yourself at home. Services run about 90 minutes. If you have kids, our DC Kids check-in opens before the service and is quick and secure.
